How the game works
Tic-Tac-Toe uses a three-by-three grid. Two players alternate placing X and O in empty squares. A horizontal, vertical or diagonal line of three wins immediately. If all nine squares fill without a line, the result is a draw.
Each player starts with one minute of thinking time, and only the player whose turn it is loses time. There is no bonus after a move. If your clock reaches zero before you finish, you lose even when the board still has open squares.
Quick early moves leave more of your minute for a difficult final position.
