Privacy Policy

This policy describes the data used by the OfficeGuilds website, registered accounts and Guest games. Creating an account or playing a game does not enable optional analytics: that requires a separate choice in Cookie preferences.

The information depends on the features you use. Guest play does not require an account email.

Account and profile

Email, account and sign-in information, and the name, optional gender and avatar you provide. Passwords are stored as hashes, not readable passwords.

Games and guilds

Character information, guild membership, invitations, match actions and results, ratings and progression. Guest matches use temporary access credentials.

Contact requests

The email address, subject and message you submit through the contact form.

Technical information

Session and security records, IP address and browser information used for access protection, and your language, theme and cookie choices. Optional analytics adds usage events only after your consent.

We use this information to provide account access, run matches, maintain results and progression, manage guild membership and invitations, show notifications, answer contact requests and protect the service from abuse. Account emails support verification, password recovery and security notifications. Optional analytics helps us understand site usage.

Public player and guild pages and leaderboards display the profile and game information included in those features, such as character identity, guild presentation and statistics. Match participants receive the game information needed to play. Account credentials and private security information are not public profile fields. Choose display names and images with their visibility in mind.

Infrastructure services process the data needed to host the website, store account and game records, and serve uploaded images. The following services support specific features:

Resend

Delivers account emails, including verification, password recovery and security notifications. Email delivery requires the recipient address and message content.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics 4 measures site usage when you allow analytics. It is disabled in local development, staging and preview environments.

Cloudflare Turnstile

Checks protected forms to help prevent automated abuse. Security checks operate independently of the optional analytics setting.

Account information, registered game history and contact requests are stored on the server. Signing out, closing a tab or rejecting analytics does not delete those records. Guest match access is temporary, with result access limited to at most 24 hours after a match ends. For questions about stored information or a request to delete it, use the contact form and choose Privacy. Browser storage lifetimes are described in the Cookie Policy available in the footer.

You can update the profile fields available in your account settings and allow or reject optional analytics through Cookie preferences. Withdrawing analytics consent stops further optional collection; it does not erase previously processed events. Use the contact form for questions about access, correction or deletion of personal data. Do not include your password or match invitation secrets in a message.

OfficeGuilds does not ask for a date of birth during registration. If you have a question or concern about a child’s personal information in the service, contact us through the contact form and choose Privacy.
